This project for Erin (Esmé), an Australian singer/songwriter who reached out for styling for her latest release Still (B Side).
The Sydney-based singer/songwriter started her career in 2017, slowly evolving her sound to take her jazz background to new territories. Experimenting with other genres like soul, hip hop or electronic through her various collaborations which range from Royce Wood Junior (NAO) and Twilite Tone (Kanye West, Gorillaz) to Godriguez (GODTET).
I wanted this outfit to visually translate the kind of sound that Erin produces; a soft, calming tone with beautifully high melodies. I opted for an oversized nylon shirt, that flows over her silhouette, much like her tone, and catches shimmers of light - much like her voice.
